We are an electrical parts redistribution and sales company and are looking for an Intern to join our energetic and enthusiastic Sales team. Working within a highly dynamic and progressive industry, this opportunity will provide the successful candidate with unparalleled experience in the area of Technical Sales. With offices on the sunny island of Malta and in Germany, the company has gone from strength to strength in recent years, by offering its clients fast, efficient and personalised service This role is to focus on our bustling American customer base. A considerable amount of our most important customers is located in America (USA, Canada, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil etc.) so the account executives in question will be put in place to facilitate and develop this market for the company.
Role of the Intern:
Develop and maintain a network of partner companies which could avail of the services
Attract and engage new potential clients to generate new business for the company
Play an active role in the execution of Marketing and Business Development strategies
Assist, where needed, in all stages of the Search, Selection and Placement Processes for Clients
Work closely with colleagues and management to provide clients with most efficient and professional service possible
Skills and Qualities:
Outgoing, positive personality
Sales or Business Development experience is an advantage
Strong command of the English & Spanish Languages
Additional languages are also an asset
Good communication and negotiation skills

This HR internship takes place in Saint Julian‘s (Malta). Vibrant multilingual atmosphere with over 10 languages being spoken on a daily basis allow you to learn and develop in an multicultural team. The team at BD Electronics prides itself on its sourcing ability of electronic components. We have direct contact with over 700 recognized EC vendors worldwide. Additionally, BD Electronic has visibility on otherwise hidden "Excess OEM Stock" from 100's of OEMs globally. This all means that we have the ability to find Components that other Electronic distributors do not.
Responsibilities:
Source new candidates
Build rapport and understanding with candidates that the company represents
Help to find and attract new clients
Assist promoting the company’s services to both candidates and clients
Build and maintain Database of candidates
Requirements:
Studies or experience in Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, or similar
Good language skills, particularly in English – Additional languages are a bonus
Good interpersonal skills, a “people person”
Good manager of time, as well as ability to conduct self in a professional manner at all times
Results driven individual with positive, “can do” attitude

Role of the Intern:
Assist the IT Manager with the delivery of all aspects of ongoing IT development
Maintain IT Infrastructure, including Servers, PCs, Printers, Software, Telephony System, etc
Provide IT support to internal users
Help to develop company websites, including SEO optimisation, UI and other features
Updating or editing online content, create AdWords campaigns and email campaigns
Managing digital marketing plans that will increase web traffic and customer engagement
Research new technology, and implement it or recommend its implementation.
Skills and Qualities:
Degree level in an IT discipline, or currently studying a related IT qualification
Ability to diagnose and solve issues involving common desktop applications and PC hardware
Experience with HTML5, CSS required
Knowledge of SEO and how SEO improvements can boost our web traffic
Joomla, WordPress or other CMS administration experience
Working with Excel and .csv files
Knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, PHP would be considered an asset
An understanding of SQL Databases would be considered an asset
Ability to work on your own initiative where necessary

Responsibilities:
Your tasks will include locating product.
Negotiate pricing, recognize market trends and in-demand items
Developing and maintaining business relationships with Vendor Reps.
This position interfaces internally with the Sales Department and externally with Vendor Reps. Applicant should be able to work well with others, and must be detail oriented.

Job Profile: Accounting/Audit Assistant Internship
Location: Saint Julian’s-Malta
Salary: 300€/m
Description of the company:
A local firm that provides a full range of accounting, auditing, tax and corporate services is
looking for an intern to join as an accounting and/or tax assistant. The firm has a range of
clients based on the island of Malta with international connections, and international
clients utilising Malta in their corporate structures. This opportunity will provide the
successful candidate with invaluable experience, in a jurisdiction blending Commercial
Common Law with Civil Law, and a popular jurisdiction for international tax optimisation.
Role of the Intern:
Providing support and assistance to the lead Financial Accountant, Auditor and/or Tax Advisor
Preparing, as well as assisting with, monthly management report analysis
Assisting with Bookkeeping and administrative requirements and procedures
Assisting with the preparation and filing of statutory returns
Assisting in audit fieldwork and preparation of supporting work papers
Skills and Qualities:
Studying for/in possession of Accounting or Finance related Degree
Previous practical Accounting and/or Auditing experience is considered an asset, but not a necessity
Good level of English
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely fashion
